"We're so proud of you...been following your journey all the way. and loving you as well...your path has helped people to look inside themselves for the answers and perhaps, along the way of discovery, has helped to make this world a more peaceful place to live...isn't that what it is all about?" "Thank you again Chandra! If I may say so you are damn good at what you do and wonderful company!" Sincerely, Pam

Just a quick note to tell you how just watching you on TV for the few
minutes you were being interviewed has impacted my life in such a positive manner! Thank you for the words that jumped off the set and into my heart. I am so grateful for the words "you must feel to heal" and I use this reminder multiple times, daily. Thank you. Thank you for giving me peace of mind and for helping my eyes focus on the future, instead of the rear view mirror.

Chandra,

I LOVE your daily lessons! They have helped me so much. And both your books were wonderful. (Yes, I trashionalized all the time!) And, good news - my husband I were getting divorced. I made him read parts of your books, which were SO us! He has now agreed to go to counseling for 6 months. In exchange I won't file for divorce during that time , giving him time to straighten up. Who knows what will happen during that time, but both of us are finally happy with ourselves. yay.
Keep up the good lessons! Viva Las Vegas.

Hi Chandra,

My name is Catherine and I'm 45 years old, been married for 25 years with 3 children (20 ,18 & 12). This morning I just happened to be watching TV and caught you on the Daytime show talking about anti-depressants. Four weeks ago my doctor put me on Lexapro. My family had mixed emotions about me being on medication but they wanted me to try it since I've been extremely moody for the last two years. During these last 4 weeks I haven't felt much but you put a label on it this morning calling it "flat-line"..which couldn't describe it better. You are right, I'm not depressed, I'm sad....with maybe a little anger thrown in.
So I just wanted to say thank you for being at the right place at the right time this morning. I'm holding on to the things you said, I'm calling my doctor for directions on how to get off this medication before feeling nothing becomes comfortable. Thank you, thank you.

To Whom It May Concern:

January 2003, Dr. Jack Guggino, CEO of Guggino Family Eye Center, engaged Ms. Chandra Alexander as a business coach to assist us in gaining a more cohesive, productive working environment. She has successfully worked with our physicians and administrative staff as well as participated as a guest speaker to our general staff. She has proven to be wise, spirited and intuitive. Her approach is very direct and she gets to the core of issues quickly.

Since working with Ms. Alexander our staff retention and morale among the doctors and employees has considerably improved. We continue to use a more positive, straightforward, centered means of communication that has resulted in improving the harmony of our office. We are able to handle issues in a much more organized and expedient manner.

On a personal note, I have gained personal insight and a higher level of confidence. If you are prepared to interact with a very straightforward, direct, wise and intuitive coach, I recommend Chandra Alexander to your organization without hesitation.

Sincerely,
Paula M. Callahan, Practice Administrator

October 7, 2004

This is a letter of recommendation for the business and personal coaching skills of Chandra Alexander, MSW. Chandra began working with our physician, administrators, and staff in January, 2003. She was hired to evaluate and help us resolve several issues. These included differing personalities and leadership styles amongst the physicians, communication difficulties between the owners, administration, and staff, and general discord in goals and management styles.

It is of interest that we had spent a great deal of hours and dollars on various other consultants including some specifically trained in our type of medical practice and a some with high powered credentials such as Ph.D.’s. None of these had provided us with the harmony, organization, team-player approach which we desired and knew was vital to enjoy and continue to succeed in our rapidly growing practice.

Chandra was able to QUICKLY and astutely point out the personality issues and communication problems which were blocking our team from progressing and working well together. Her most amazing asset is her ability to “read” people’s personalities after spending a very short time with them. She takes a no-nonsense approach to dealing with issues and very confidently confronts and addresses the areas which she feels need to be changed. It is refreshing and encouraging to have someone be so direct and so accurate in her assessments of the problems. To follow this, she always has excellent ideas and suggestions for change and improvement.

Our doctors and administrators worked in groups and individually with Chandra and were left with a much better understanding of how to work with the various personalities in our group to achieve our common goals. Each of us had to make specific changes and understand how to come together as a team. None of the other consultants had been able to achieve the results we have seen since we employed Chandra. Our office now functions with extreme efficiency and productivity, very high moral, very low drama, and outstanding team spirit. I cannot sing Chandra’s praises loudly enough in this letter. If you are open to her insight, she will bring it with strength, confidence, and accuracy.

Sincerely,
Dawn R. Bhasin, M.D.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to enthusiastically endorse Chandra Alexander as a counselor and motivational speaker. Initially I met Ms. Alexander through my profession as a trial attorney and subsequently became a client.

Ms. Alexander is one of those rare individuals who have the ability to touch the lives of those around her in an incredibly positive way. I believe this stems not only from her many years of experience as a counselor but also from the high quality of her character and desire to help others.

As a trial attorney, I am exposed to many experts in a broad spectrum of fields. Few exhibit the professionalism and knowledge within their chosen profession, as does Ms. Alexander. The dedication she brings to continually improving herself in her career and in assisting others as they confront the trials and tribulations of life is truly inspiring.

In short, Ms. Alexander would be a true asset to any individual or company who retained her services. I can say without hesitation she would improve the lives and work of anyone with whom she came in contact.

Very truly yours,
Stephen A. Barnes, Attorney at Law
Abrahamson, Uiterwyk, & Barnes

This daily email is an opportunity to stay connected to what's real and true. Cutting through to "The Real Truth" is my way of sharing with you an inner barometer to test the "realness" of where you are at any moment. Having a good life is not for the weak at heart. A cold eye is what's needed to plunge our inner depths and for that we must be brave. Regardless of our dysfunction, our ego must be healthy and strong enough so that we can we be brutally honest with ourselves. Real bravery is accepting that the inner journey will include "uncomfortableness" and anxiety; that there is no way to face our demons without the willingness to meet them. There will always be emotional pain when we finally feel our grief and sadness, and get in touch with a lifetime of "stuffed feelings", but once we stop resisting what has always been there, we experience freedom, and finally know that suffering is optional. Here's to living in the present moment - not the past or the future - Chandra
